OOKKKKAAAYYYY!!!!
I guess since I can't call to the States without it costing me a ton right now, that I should tell people how our plans are going a little bit better on here. Cheryl is the only one that has called me and I've told her about it since I've been here at the hotel. For those of you who are getting impatient, I will be back home on Saturday. Yes, I said Saturday. So on with the restlessness and sleepless nights getting anxious for the wonderful me to arrive. I know I'm so wonderful. *snort* Anyway, we don't have times or anything yet. We are still doing last minute paperwork and such. Tuesday was our Marine Corps Ball and it was good. I want to post about that when I can put the pictures up. I will tell you I used my camera to record a tiny bit of something I though was hilarious. Imagine a dance floor full of Marines in dress blues all dancing to YMCA. And yes...they were drunk. I also met SgtMajor Estrada. Who is the SgtMajor of the Marine Corps. Anyway, there you go Jesse. Now you know when I am coming!

Veteran's Day
This day and Memorial Day has always been a pretty big thing in my house growing up, and now is a bit bigger. My dad is a Veteran and I not be more proud of him and all he has accomplished. He deserves his "I love me" wall. My husband is now a veteran and it's alot different to see him leave and for Tristan to say Daddy to a picture. I have friends I went to high school that are now veterans too. I want to say I'm proud of each and every one still with us or past on. They will never be forgotten in my house.
Keely tagged me..

Winding down
Well it's getting closer and closer to when I leave this island. TMO comes next week to pick our stuff up. If I don't post for a while it's because we turned off our cable and have left our housing to stay wherever we can. We have a slight problem with where we are going to stay. They only pay for 6 days at TLF( temporary living facility) and we need more than that. Joe gave me a Christmas present early. I am going to take this with me. It is an HP Pavilion dv1000. It has Centrino mobile technology. Pretty cool. So that's 3 computers in our house now. One big home computer that is one expensive setup. The thing is liquid cooled, then Joe has his Dell laptop, and now I have mine. But this one I can have all the wierd decorations and wallpapers and such that I want. Yay me! I will update when I can about the move and such, but bare with me because I think computer time will be limited after this weekend.
Jarhead the Movie
I saw a preview for this movie a few days ago and thought it would be good. I went to the website and got a whole different feeling about this. I didn't know that it was about Desert Shield/Storm. My dad was there and Joe's Uncle was there. Jarhead is the website. It is quite a movie preview site. It give history of the Marine Corps and makes me really wonder how the movie is going to be. I guess it's based on a book written by a grunt called Jarhead. I really want to see this movie. I wish I could be here in Okinawa surrounded by Marines when I watch it....but movies take forever to get out here.
